Please be aware:

The product lister is currently in closed beta and is only available for Etsy.

What is it?

Multiorders new product listing tool is designed to greatly reduce time spent on listing new products on your sales channels. By using this tool you will no longer need to manually copy things like Titles, SKU, Prices, Quantity & Images.

To do this we can use existing product information from already imported sales channels, or you can create your products first on Multiorders via .csv Import and then proceed to list them on the chosen sales channel.

Things to be aware of!

Every sales channel is unique and while we try to include as many features of the marketplace as possible, supporting everything during product listing is impossible. Because of this, before you begin listing, please read through dedicated guides for each sales channel.

Each channel has its limitations as well and certain products might not be directly compatible to list from one sales channel to another. Furthermore, the UI of the lister will differ depending on which sales channel you are trying to list.

Preparing to list products.

As mentioned before, we can use the products that have already been imported into Multiorders from your connected sales channels or products create Locally via the .csv Import.

Before continuing with the listing process make sure that the information you see inside Multiorders is correct. Otherwise, you may end up with poorly imported products that will need to be deleted from within the marketplace before you re-attempt to list the products again. A lot of the information can be updated in bulk via .csv Import. Please follow individual guides for each sales channel.

Available listing processes.

As soon as you have a compatible sales channel connected to Multiorders, you can begin working with listings. You can either click each simple or configurable product individually and open them straight away in the listing tool, or you can build a collection of products bit by bit and then open that collection in the lister tool.

Sending SIMPLE Products straight away to the lister.

To begin listing your simple products first open your Inventory page on Multiorders and make sure you are on the Simple tab of your inventory page.

Then start selecting the products you wish to list.

Then press on the Lister button. You will find it between the Options and Tag buttons. This will open up a small dropdown allowing you to either add these products to a collection or send them directly to the lister. If you press the "Open selected products in lister" button, it will do just that (we will cover Collections and their controls later in the guide).

Please be aware: Before you do this step, you should read through the guide dedicated to the sales channel you are listing to as it will cover all the remaining steps after this point.

Sending CONFIGURABLE Products straight away to the lister.

Listing configurable products is really similar to that of SIMPLE Products. First, open your Inventory page on Multiorders and navigate to the Configurable product tab of your inventory page.

Then start selecting the configurable products you wish to list.

Collections.

Collections allow you to temporarily gather products in a separate list while you prepare them for listing. This is often most helpful when the products you want to list cannot be easily filtered out on the main inventory page.

Creating Collections

You must create the collection before you begin adding products to it. To do that go to Settings -> Lister.

In here you would normally see all of your collections, but since we just started there are none and we need to create some.

Look at the lower-left corner of the window, right under the title Name and the text you will find a field with the text "Create collection"

Type in the name of your new collection in there.

Then press Enter and a new collection will be created.

Using Collections.

Once the collection is created you will be able to see its name, description, how many products it contains.

At the moment there are no products in this collection. To add products, first go to the inventory page, Simple or Configurable.

Select your products and press the Lister button.

The dropdown that opens will have the latest collection pre-selected, if you have more than one collection you click on the dropdown to change it. With the correct collection selected press the button called "Add to collection".

(if you change your mind and you don't want to add this to a collection but to just send to listing too instantly, simply press "Open selected products in lister")

With the product now added to the collection you can go back to Settings -> Lister to check their information and further work on the collection.

Editing Collections

Inside Settings -> Lister page, you can look the far right side of the page and find a set of dedicated controls for each collection.

Going from left to right, each control works as:

  1. Opens the listing tool with all of the products available in the collection.
  2. Allows editing the created collection. This means changing the title, description, showing products that were added to the collection, and allowing to remove them.
  3. Shows the current status of the products in the collection. Have they successfully listed, which ones haven't, and were there any errors the last time you attempted to list the product.
  4. The last option simply deletes the collection.

You can have multiple collections at any given moment and multiple collections can contain the same product, so be careful to no accidentally duplicate your listings.
