NOTE: It is currently only possible to list products from Multiorders to Etsy. The feature is in the BETA version thus if anything seems out of place, please get in touch with our support team.
Important things to know before listing to Etsy
During the listing process, we cannot update details from the "Listing Details" page on Etsy like Primary Color, Style, Occasion, Celebration.
DO NOT: refresh your browser window while working on the products or you will lose your progress.
DO NOT: close down the browser while the lister is in the process of creating the products or it will fail halfway through.
Please take the time to read the initial how-to guide on how the lister works and how to prepare your products for listing here.
How to list Simple products to Etsy
Go to Inventory, click on Simple tab to filter out Simple products, select the products that you want to list, press on the Lister button, and select Open selected products in lister:
You will then be re-directed to our listing tool where you need to select the sales channel you want to list to (this sales channel must be connected to Multiorders before listing).
Let's choose Etsy as it's currently the only option we have:
Select the Shipping template which comes from your Etsy account. If you want to change anything in the shipping template, it all needs to be done via Etsy.
NOTE: Do not start editing the product details at the bottom until you finished filling in all settings in the above area. The options from the header will allow you to preset a lot of data in bulk.
After you've chosen your shipping template, you are now able to fill in the rest of the key listing information:
Renewal Options - you can choose to relist products either Automatically or Manually at the time when the listing times out on Etsy
Listing State - you can choose to create Draft or Live listings. We recommend creating the draft listing first, especially if you are using the lister for the first time
Select Category - choose Etsy product category
About this item - the standard "who, what, when" questions from Etsy.
Tags & Materials - just like the other options Tags & Materials can be applied in bulk to selected products, so it's a good idea to at least put some common information that will be used across all listings. Each unique item should be separated by a comma.
Once the information is filled, you can select products individually or all at the same time, to apply these settings. On the left side, below the "Select shipping template" dropdown you will find the "Select All" checkbox:
After selecting the products you want to update, press the Apply to selected products button:
You will be able to see that all the products below Select All section now have the information you selected before, applied to them:
From here you can make any additional detailed changes to the products you are going to list - you can update the Title, SKU, Description, Price, and Quantity:
All other taxonomy, status, and category settings can also be adjusted for each product individually:
If you notice any missing images, you can add them here via an image URL link.
Simply paste in the link and press Add and the image will be added to the list. Because these work via URLs the images can be hosted anywhere online:
10. Once you have confirmed that the product information is correct, press Submit selected products:
11. Once the process begins do not close the browser until it has finished creating the listings:
Once you get the notification Done listing products, that's it - your products have been listed to your Etsy store.
How to list Configurable products to Etsy
Go to Inventory, click on the Configurable tab to filter out Configurable products, select the products that you want to list, press on the Lister button, and select Open selected products in lister:
Once the listing tool opens, fill in the information in the same way as for the Simple products (step 5 above) and click on Apply to selected products:
Differently from the Simple product listing, here you will have Parent item as Configurable Product, the SKU field will be inactive and below the Description field you will see a Show variations button. Press on it to expand the variations:
You will get a full list of variations for this product and will be able to fill out SKU, Quantity, and Price for each individual variation separately.
In Map your aspects to available variations you will see aspects already selected here as we automatically map them to variations when importing the product into the listing tool. Etsy supports only 2 variation types per listing, that is why we have the checkboxes here:
If your original product listing has more than two variation types, you will need to merge them into a single variation type. In the example below, we are merging a product with two variation types into a product with only one variation type in Etsy. The actual amount of individual products created from this will still be the same, as you will see in our later examples:
Once variations are set, you can move on to link images to Etsy variations. The images will already be preselected according to the way they are set in your inventory but we recommend reviewing them and adjusting manually if needed.
Etsy allows setting images on only one variation type - either Size or Color. In this example let's assign images to the Size variation type and then assign pictures to the Small & Medium size variations.
Once all settings are applied, mark the checkboxes of the products you want to list and press Submit selected products:
That's it! Once the listing process is finished, you can check on your products on Etsy.
This is how the variations look after the import on the first configurable Etsy listing:
And this is how an Etsy listing looks with its variations merged.
How to list products from collection
Start from creating a collection which is covered in this guide.
After the product collection is created, go to Tools - Lister and look at the Actions menu to the far right. From here click on the arrow icon to open the collection inside the Etsy lister:
Once you have finished listing, go to Tools - Lister and choose the eye symbol to overview your lister products status:
This gives you a status report about every listed item, whether it was already listed, if it failed, what was the cause and which products need to be relisted:
NOTE: when you open a Collection that has both listed and unlisted products, they will all open in the lister.
