Guide for shipping orders with Multiorders

Updated over 2 years ago

Ways of shipping orders

There are 3 ways how you can ship your orders:

  1. Shipping each order individually with a manual process of selecting carriers, services & packaging. Perfect if you have a very low order volume.

  2. Shipping multiple orders in bulk with a manual process of selecting carriers, services & packaging for all orders at once.

    โ€‹NOTE:

    • You can only bulk ship orders which will have the same carrier, service, and packaging.

    • You can only bulk ship orders with USPS, Royal Mail, and using your third-party carrier (Manual Shipments).

  3. Shipping automatically where carrier, service & packaging is automatically selected for all incoming orders by your predefined rules. This is the fastest way to ship orders via Multiorders.

Shipping individual orders manually

  1. Go to Orders and click on the New tab. Choose one order and click on the Ship Order button:

  2. A pop-up with order details will open. If you have Multiple Warehouses enabled, you will first have to select a warehouse for each ordered item from where it must be collected:

  3. If you don't have Multiple Warehouses, you just have to choose a courier straight away - we'll select Royal Mail in this case:

  4. A table will open where you need to enter package weight and measurements. If you are planning to use these values quite often, you can create a Package Preset with these values predefined and for the next shipment, select it from a dropdown under Package:

  5. Depending on the carrier and shipping destination you may have to add a Signature, Insurance, or select item category. Finally, choose Delivery Type and Service. If you want to ship your order in multiple packages, click on Enable Multiple Shipments.

  6. This will open a new popup where you can add additional packages by clicking on Add Parcel:

  7. Once you have finished filling in the details and adding additional packages if needed, click on Buy Shipments.

  8. That's it! Your shipment has been created and your order status is now updated to shipped on your sales channels with a tracking code and courier information.

You can now print your shipping label by clicking on Prepare Label and any other documents like Invoice, Tax Invoice, Return Form, Picking List, or Delivery Note.
