Before you integrate
We highly recommend setting unique SKUs for each product variation in your Wix inventory. Multiorders uses this information to automatically merge your products with other connected sales channels like Amazon or eBay to keep your stocks in sync.
Wix allows you to use multiple different plugins to enhance your store, but some of them might be incompatible with Multiorders. If your store's product or order information is modified through plugins that might change their information in a way that Multiorders won't be able to understand and import them. We recommend contacting Multiorders customer support before connecting your Wix store to Multiorders.
Connecting Wix to Multiorders
Go to your Wix admin panel and click on Apps:
Click on App Market and enter "Multiorders" in the search bar on the top right:
When Multiorders app will appear, click on Add:
A new tab will open and you will be asked to grant Multiorders the permissions to access your Wix inventory and orders. Click on Allow and Install:
You will now be redirected to the Multiorders registration page. If you already have a Multiorders account, click on the Log In button at the bottom and simply sign in. Otherwise, fill out your details and create a new account with Multiorders.
If you are registering a new account the first thing you will see is this pop-up for your Wix integration settings. Please read through the descriptions before you press save:
If you are logging in to an existing account, go to Integrations search for Wix on the right side, and press to add. A similar table as mentioned above will appear. After you press connect it will appear bellow like to:
In the Status field inside the added Integration window, you should now see the status Import in progress. It might take up to 15-20 minutes to import your products depending on how many of them you have in your store.
When the status will turn Live that's it - integration has been connected successfully and products have finished importing.
Wix inventory management specifics
Updating stock
After adding the integration, we recommend that you only change stock quantities via Multiorders. If you will change stock quantity in Wix it will update on Multiorders, but other internal Multiorders actions could overwrite it again, so it is always best to make stock changes on Multiorders end. Furthermore, changing stock via sales channel only works on Wix, no other sales channel.
Having your Wix products always in stock
Wix gives you the option to always keep your products in stock and not show the exact amount you have left in stock.
Other marketplaces don’t have this option, so for you to be able to work with every other platform, each product that has no tracked stock is assigned with a default value of 88 in the Total field.
We also assign minimum and maximum allowed values of 10 and 100 respectively for each item.
The Minimum allowed value means that even if your product total goes far below 0, we will still tell Wix and every other marketplace merged with it that you have 10 units of the item and it will always stay in stock.
The Maximum allowed value was added to make everything more organized and means that no matter how many items you have in stock, be it 500 or actual infinity, we will always tell your stores that you have 100. You can change these figures at any point, but we recommend keeping them above 0 for your products to always be available for sale.
Enabling Allowed Stock column
When you first sign up, the Allowed Stock column is not displayed by default in your inventory table, so you need to enable it. You can do this by clicking on the Column button on the top left of your inventory screen and checking the box next to Allowed Stock:
The Minimum allowed value means that even if your product total goes far below 0, we will still tell Wix and every other marketplace merged to it that you have 10 units of the item and it will always stay in stock.
The Maximum allowed value was added to make everything more organized and means that no matter how many items you have in stock, be it 500 or actual infinity, we will always tell your stores that you have 100. You can change these figures at any point, but we recommend keeping them above 0 for your products to always be available for sale.
Wix order management specifics
Wix order import time to Multiorders
Orders placed on Wix will appear in Multiorders almost instantly. Orders from other marketplaces take around 10-15 minutes to appear.
Unpaid Wix orders
When unpaid orders are placed on your Wix store, no stock is reserved - you will see that that happens on Multiorders as well. If your customer pays for the order and its status updates to Paid on Wix, Multiorders will update the order in our system as well and only then will deduct the amount of stock attached to the updated order.
