How to add notes to orders

  1. Go to the Orders page and find the Icons column:

  2. A note icon would be the first one in line. If the note icon is grey, it means there is no note on the order. If it is yellow it means that either an order came in with a note from the customer or a note is left by any of your staff. Click on it to open:

  3. A popup will appear where you will be able to see previously left notes if there are any and add a new one by typing the text and clicking on Add Note:

You will see that the notes left by the staff will carry their name and date of entry.

NOTE: order notes are visible to staff members with access to Orders. Learn about different user access levels here.

You can also add a note inside the order. Open any order, scroll down until you can see the bottom of the middle column, enter a note and click on Add Note:

The customer notes will be marked in green and notes left by the staff will be marked in yellow.
