How to import inventory items via CSV

  1. Go to Inventory and click on the Import button:

  2. A pop-up will appear where you will need to click on a link to download TSV or CSV example import sheet.

  3. Open the downloaded sheet and fill in your product details. Make sure all the mandatory fields with the star icon are filled in:

  4. Once you have all your product details in the CSV sheet, go back to Inventory, click Import and select the import type. In this case, we are importing new inventory items, so let's choose Create. Click on Choose Sheet where you need to upload your inventory sheet.

  5. Scroll down to the bottom of the popup and click on Import:

That's it! Your inventory started importing. It might take up to several minutes to finish importing depending on the number of products you are uploading.

To check the progress, go to the Reports tab, scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see your import there. If it says Done - import has finished.

Check if there are no failed items to make sure the inventory import was successful. If you see that a number of items failed to import, click on the number to find out the reason:

A pop-up will open up where you can see which products have failed to import according to the line number on the left. The error message will explain what happened.

In this case, a mandatory Product Quantity field was empty, therefore the import failed:

All of the products that had no errors will be created and the system will only skip those that had something missing.


How to export inventory items via CSV

  1. If you would like to export all of your inventory items, go to Inventory, click on the Export button and choose Export All:

  2. If you would like to export only specific inventory items, you have to filter them first. Go to Filter, choose the criteria you want to filter your products by, and click on Add:

  3. When the filter is added, go to Inventory, click on the Export button and choose Export Filtered.

    NOTE: If you switch pages while you are in Inventory and click on Export All, the system will only export the products that are shown in that specific page.

That's it! To download the export file, go to the Reports tab, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the download link:


How to update inventory items in bulk via CSV

  1. Before updating your inventory, you need to first export your inventory items to a CSV file. Follow this paragraph for exporting inventory items.

  2. Once you have downloaded your CSV file, open it up and update the required information on it.

    NOTE: Product Name, SKU, Images, Marketplace Id, and Multiorders Id can not

    be updated.

    If you will be updating the price for a merged item, items that are merged to it will have the same pricing after the update. This is because it is possible to export and update only the main product in the CSV file.

  3. Once you have finished updating, go to Inventory and click on the Import button:

  4. In the pop-up that will open select Import type as Update and you can choose which fields you want to have updated.

    If you want to update all the fields including price and quantity, check both boxes next to Update Price and Update Quantity.

    If you want to update everything, except price and quantity, leave the checkboxes next to Update Price and Update Quantity unmarked:

  5. Click on Choose Sheet where you need to upload the inventory sheet that you just updated.

  6. Scroll down and click on Import

That's it! Your inventory started updating. To check the progress, go to the Reports tab, scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see your import there.

If it says Done - import has finished.
